"Staffs are friendly. The inn is situated inside the ancient wall town , which make it easy to walk around the town. The decor of the inn is very unique and i luv it. The only downside of the inn is no lift. But staff will help you to carry the luggage up. Highest floor is 3 levels."

"Had a fantastic stay! We booked the 'sky-light room,' which was very quiet, allowing us to sleep soundly until morning. The front desk attendant was incredibly warm and helpful; she brought ice packs for my wife's sprained ankle and even lent us a charging cable. It boasts a four-star standard, and the breakfast offers local specialties like lamb offal soup with noodles and knife-cut noodles, along with live coffee latte art – quite impressive! The hotel is very popular, and the restaurant often has queues during meal times. Guests, however, enjoy a VIP no-queue channel, which is a huge bonus. Most staff members are attentive and polite. The only minor drawbacks are that the room WiFi signal is just average, and we hope the female server at the noodle-cutting station during breakfast could be a bit more friendly."

"Location: The location is excellent, right in Datong Ancient City. The hotel is directly across from Huayan Temple and Huayan Temple Square. It's also very close to many famous Datong restaurants like Zini 369, Longjuxiang, Beiwei Jiayan, and Xijindao, all within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. Service: It's understandable that hotel prices increase during peak tourist season, but the service should also keep up. Before check-in, a hotel staff member called to ask about any special requests. I mentioned I had a child and needed children's amenities prepared in advance. However, upon arriving at the room, I found none were provided. I called the front desk to request them, but waited a very long time without anything being delivered. My family eventually stopped a cleaner in the hallway to get them. On the second day of our stay, the bathroom wasn't even cleaned – the trash was still in the bin, and the tissues hadn't been replaced. There was no staff outside to assist with luggage. On a positive note, my child lost a tooth and got some blood on the duvet, and the cleaning staff promptly replaced it, which was great. Breakfast: The restaurant isn't large, and there weren't many diners, which made for a comfortable experience. They offered freshly cooked items like lamb offal soup and knife-cut noodles. The variety of dishes wasn't extensive, but it was decent. Overall, there's still room for improvement regarding the details."

"This time I came to Datong to stay at this homestay and the experience was full! The homestay is newly renovated, the rooms are very clean and tidy, and all kinds of facilities are very new and comfortable. The view of the yard is beautiful, and it is especially pleasant to sit in your leisure time. What impressed me the most was the boss family, who treated people sincerely and enthusiastically, and made the journey particularly warm. Highly recommended, I will choose here next time I come to Datong!"

"This guesthouse is very close to Datong Ancient City, located right across from Huayan Temple, so you can explore the ancient city on foot. The host couple, an aunt and uncle, are incredibly warm and helpful; they even helped us find a parking spot and cut watermelon for us. They seem to truly enjoy life, and their guesthouse is beautifully decorated, making you feel relaxed and at ease. Their courtyard is home to peacocks, parrots, squirrels, and more... On our second morning, we were lucky enough to wake up to a peacock fanning its tail feathers!"

"This hotel has very obvious pros and cons. The advantages are its good location and the staff's positive attitude. The downsides are the outdated facilities and the staff's inability to effectively resolve issues caused by these old facilities that negatively impact the guest experience. These include, but are not limited to: 1. The Wi-Fi signal was practically nonexistent; I couldn't connect at all during my two-day stay. 2. Breakfast had short hours, limited variety, and mediocre quality. Unlike the usual 8-10 AM slot, breakfast here only ran until 9 AM, and by 8:40 AM, they were already assumed not to be serving new guests and stopped refilling items. (The older gentleman who collected meal tickets and cooked noodles at the entrance was very kind; it would have been better if he hadn't put noodles that touched the table back into the bowl). 3. The room facilities were so old that the ceiling leaked, and plaster fell onto the entire sink area. I tolerated it the first day because it didn't hit anything else, but it kept falling on the second day. In the bathroom, whether it was shower water or water from the toilet, it dripped directly onto my toiletry bag with plaster bits, which was disgusting. However, I discovered it too late and had to rush for my train, so I didn't have time to communicate. When I contacted the hotel after getting off the train, the staff said they couldn't offer compensation after check-out but could provide an exclusive discount for a future stay. I told them I had no plans to revisit anytime soon, and the hotel responded that they would remain open until I decide to come back. 🙃"

The guest rooms are brand new, fully equipped with smart technology, providing an excellent experience. The cleanliness and attention to detail are top-notch. In your free time, you can relax in the book bar or work out in the well-equipped gym. The breakfast is thoughtfully prepared, offering authentic Datong local flavors. The front desk staff are polite and responsive. This hotel is ideal for both sightseeing and a relaxing short stay. I've already recommended it to my friends."

"This guesthouse is truly unique, located right in the ancient city, next to Huayan Temple. Many attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of restaurants, including several popular spots. It's incredibly convenient. The owner is fantastic. We exchanged WeChat info, and not only did he come out to greet us when we arrived, but he also came out to say hello every time we returned from sightseeing. He also recommended all the best places to eat and visit nearby. They even offer a complimentary pick-up or drop-off service from the station. The rooms have a distinct Shanxi character with a beautiful Chinese style – I loved it. There are many different room types and sizes available in the courtyard. It's definitely a place I'd be happy to stay at again."
