The room was spacious, featuring a balcony and a bathroom with a dry/wet separation, and the hot water supply was excellent. The only downside was the slightly old mattress, which lacked support on the edges. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful; they even gave me a cake for my birthday (as I was staying for an extended period). The hotel is located in Ao Nam Mao, and it costs around 100 baht to get to Ao Nang Beach by taxi. Having a motorbike would definitely make getting around easier.

We stayed at the hotel for several days in early December.
We liked the hotel. The breakfasts were quite varied and always hot, which was a pleasant surprise as we have something to compare it to. The pool was nice.
The receptionist was very sweet.
Our room was small. We didn't have enough storage space in the room; the wardrobe only had a rail and a high shelf, which was inconvenient to use even for someone tall like me. Our clothes ended up piled on the floor inside the wardrobe. In the shower, there was only one small, steeply slanted shelf, making it impossible to place anything on it. We had to buy a plastic floor shelf for our toiletries. My suggestion to the owner is to address this issue.
Another downside was the poor cleaning. On a scale of five, it would be a three with a big minus. The floors still had hair on them, and the shower wasn't cleaned either. My suggestion to management is to improve cleaning standards. This also influences the overall impression of the hotel.
One more negative was the large number of plants with dried leaves. It was clear they weren't getting enough water. I constantly felt like watering them!
Despite some drawbacks, I really liked the hotel. We took a boat to Railay Beach. The beach near the hotel isn't suitable for swimming.

Everything was simply superb, I'd rate the hotel a 5, and in terms of value for money, it's a 5+++! You can walk to the beach in 20-25 minutes, and there are tons of cafes and bars nearby. A 7/11 is no more than 300 meters away. The lobby has a cafe and a kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave, and kettle (it's both a hotel and a hostel, offering both dorms and private rooms with amenities). They have bikes and scooters for rent, and right at the exit, they sell excursions at a great price for guests. We even got a discount on tickets to Phi Phi Island. My overall rating is 5+++.

The environment here is pretty good, located in front of a mountain. There are about 5-6 hotels along this mountain road, and this one offers the best value for money. It's also quite close to the main street, and on the way there, there's a good restaurant, as well as a nice Indian restaurant.

The hotel isn't in the liveliest area, but it's directly across from a 7-Eleven, and a mini-Big C is a bit further down. There are cafes around, though I didn't find any particularly good ones 😬. The pier is close by, but the beach is only accessible at Ao Nang. There's scooter parking downstairs. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick. The room is small but perfectly adequate, with a fridge, TV, wardrobe, and bed. Hot water is available at reception (along with tea, coffee, bananas, and cookies). They provide two 0.5L bottles of water daily. The water supply is stable, and the hot water comes from an instant heater. There's also a balcony with a table, which is nice for relaxing. The air conditioning is super powerful – I set it to 27°C and still froze! 😂 Housekeeping is daily. For its price point, it's pretty good. However, it would be boring without your own transport.

Really beautiful place right on the beach. Several pools. Nice restaurant and amazing breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegan. Our room was nothing special so we spent most of the time at the pool. Many chairs to lie on in the shade. A bit over priced for the Chinese new year holiday. But we really enjoyed it and the staff was very friendly and moved us to a new room after we complained about noisy neighbors. Check-out time is 11am which is a bit early to be honest. But you can still relax by the pool and facilities after checkout.

The place was serene and absolutely beautiful. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make an accommodation for us.
The policy does say no kids allowed at the place. Which is perfect. Unfortunately there was a child.
Other than that, an absolutely amazing stay.
The rooms were great! The pool was beautiful!! Nothing better than a break away at Diamond beach resort.

Be aware that the triple room and the double room are not the same room type; there's a huge difference, and the triple room is very old! Our room on the first night had a musty smell, there was a large gecko inside, and cobwebs in the wardrobe – it was a complete disaster. The room was incredibly run-down, like a domestic guesthouse. The second room we switched to was a bit better, but make sure to check the room type carefully when booking. The hotel's main advantage is its environment; it's backed by mountains, has monkeys, and is very beautiful.

The view is phenomenal. It was quiet and was so nice to be away from the crowded. The overall might look a bit old but they are all nice. We have a little issue in our room, but Ms. Windy took good care very fast, super impressed! Another staff that our family very impressed is the service from Ms.Fern, the chef, who made egg on January 4th, Breakfast. She is super polite, humble, and smiley. She made our day since the morning.

This hotel is beautiful and tranquil, set in a tropical environment with many open-air areas. You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option.

JJonny LStayed at Infinity Ao Nang recently and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and incredibly clean, with a really relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind straight away. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well designed, with great air conditioning and a very comfortable bed after long days exploring Krabi.
The staff were one of the highlights of the stay — always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with recommendations and anything we needed. The pool area was excellent, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon, and the overall vibe of the hotel felt peaceful while still being close enough to all the restaurants, bars, and beach areas in Ao Nang.
Breakfast had a good variety each morning and everything felt fresh and well organised. The location was also ideal — close enough to everything without being noisy or overcrowded.
Overall, Infinity Ao Nang exceeded expectations and offered amazing value for money. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ao Nang looking for a modern, comfortable, and relaxing hotel experience.

Room Upgrade & Design: I was upgraded to a newly renovated room, and it was stunning! The design is very beautiful, featuring a minimalist style with warm wooden tones. I was very impressed with the room itself. The only minor drawback for guests seeking absolute quiet is the soundproofing of the front door, which is a little thin. You can still hear some noise from people walking past in the hallway.
Exceptional Staff: The service from the staff was outstanding. Hardy, Kik, and Cream were all wonderful, providing excellent and very friendly service. A special mention also goes to Lusho at the breakfast restaurant. He took excellent care of me, always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions we had about the food—just ask him anything you need!
Location: The location is superb! It's just a short 7-minute walk to Ao Nang beach and very close to the night market, restaurants, and a 7-Eleven.
Facilities:
• Spa: The hotel spa is fantastic! I had the aroma massage for 850 THB, and it was excellent—both muscle and mind felt completely relaxed. The calming natural sounds, especially with the rain falling during my session, made it incredibly soothing.
• Fitness & Pool: The fitness center is well-equipped, and the swimming pool is lovely.
Overall: This is the perfect place for a relaxing, no-stress vacation. The food is good, the location is excellent (close to the beach and nearby restaurants), and the facilities are comprehensive. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning!

GGuest UserWe had an overall enjoyable stay at Sofitel in Krabi, with a few areas that could be improved—especially given the expectations of a five-star property.
The location is a clear highlight. The beach is calm and relatively private, without the usual crowd of boats, which made for a very relaxing environment.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and consistently good quality. The overall decor of the lobby and restaurants was also beautifully done, creating a pleasant and refined atmosphere for both breakfast and dinner.
However, service was somewhat inconsistent. Room service could be slow at times, and on a few occasions, items like trash left outside the room were not cleared promptly. There were also communication lapses—for example, we had requested assistance to coordinate with an elephant sanctuary, but the message was not properly followed through between staff members.
There were also minor maintenance issues, such as a non-functioning balcony light, which we chose not to escalate but would have expected to be addressed proactively at this level.
For a family room, we expected more thoughtful child-friendly design. Simple things like a stool for children to reach the sink were missing, which made basic routines unnecessarily difficult and less safe.
The pool facilities were decent but not outstanding, and cleanliness could be improved. In particular, the kiddie pool had visible debris and bugs, which made it less comfortable for young children. We also found the pool safety setup confusing and somewhat concerning. There were clear warnings stating that there are no lifeguards and that parents are responsible for supervision. However, there was consistently a staff member seated by the pool under a shaded area, appearing like a lifeguard but not actively monitoring the pool. This created a misleading impression and could give families a false sense of security. During our stay, we also witnessed a situation where a child became stuck under part of the pool obstacle structure, and assistance had to be actively requested from nearby staff. While the situation was resolved, it reinforced our concern that supervision and safety measures could be more proactive. Given the number of safety warnings posted around the pool, we were surprised that no trained lifeguard was present, especially as the current setup may give families a false sense of supervision.
One of the main drawbacks was the pricing structure. Many services and items felt excessively priced, including:
• Food at the on-site restaurants (significantly higher than comparable options outside the resort)
• Transport and excursion arrangements (e.g., speedboat pricing well above market rates)
• Activity rentals, such as the Sub Blue underwater scooter (350 THB++ for 30 minutes), which felt disproportionately expensive
• Additional charges for small requests, including delivery fees for food within the property
These added costs created a sense of being “nickel-and-dimed,” which detracted from the overall experience.
Overall, while we appreciated the beautiful location, excellent breakfast, and well-designed spaces, we felt that service consistency, family-friendliness, safety clarity, and value for money could be improved to better align with five-star expectations.

GGuest UserHotel was located at a fantastic location. Ao nang beach was right in front of the hotel. Walkable distance to local shopping. Breakfast was good as they changed Thai dishes daily. Room service, concierge available. Swimming pool is good but allowed only if you wear proper swimming suit. They will provide towels as well. Room was clean and spacious. Stayed in building A which had the pool and Mountain View. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal.
I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable.
Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data.
Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common.
The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand.
The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon.
The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets.
Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

LLorena CThis is an older place with catfishing photos. The place is not bad but the photos set your expectations too high. I was given the wrong room & no compensation. I did not want a hot tub. I paid for a swim up pool. That is not what I got.
It's okay. The area is great. Good weather makes a 5k walk to the beach worth it. The hotel is a solid okay. Hot water works, but the bath is old and needs a Lysol wipe down and upgrade. For me, it was slightly sus cleaning, but clean linen a decent and location. They comped water, tea , coffee, have a mini fridge and are nice people.
Its an okay place with grimy carpets, joining room doors, an old couch, a kids' wet play area. Some uneven floors but a decent menu that seems to come from some other place. At lunch, there's no kitchen to be seen or cooking smells but the food is good. It is not served in the restaurant, but near the bar and kids' water park.
You can make it work. I did not like having the wrong room.

The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. She even upgraded our room without extra cost .
She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip.
Staff is very friendly too.
We really enjoyed our two days stay and definitely recommend this hotel stay

It used to be a temple so it has a fantastic Thai architecture.
The room and bathroom were really big and spacious. The staff was friendly and the housekeeping is daily and dedicated. The aircon worked well, the bed was comfortable and there's plenty of furniture in the rooms. The swimming pool is big and in good condition.
The hotel is right in front of the beach but not in the central Ao Nang area.
The wifi was very weak during the whole stay.
