This hotel is truly a hidden gem with excellent value for money, especially for Hong Kong. The room size isn't small, and while the facilities are a bit dated, they are fully functional and clean. The best part is its superb location! Airport buses, the MTR (subway), and the Ding Ding tram are all nearby. There are also plenty of convenience stores and cha chaan tengs (local cafes) in the vicinity, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The front desk service was also very good, they even gave us coffee vouchers and breakfast. Highly recommended!

The hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC. The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the subway and shopping malls, making getting around very convenient. The room was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, so I slept incredibly well. From the front desk to room service, everyone was warm and responsive. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time! A reliable, all-around good place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to the incredible team. A special thank you to the front desk staff, who were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and efficient. They went above and beyond to handle every request with a smile, making me feel truly valued. The room was pristine and comfortable, but the top-notch hospitality is what makes this hotel stand out. Pros: 1. It's very close to the tram station and bus stop, and there's a supermarket and department store just across the street. The street with the bus stop also has many restaurants. (The Wellcome supermarket has very cheap water). The hotel provided a kettle, but I didn't dare drink the water (even though they said it was filtered), so I had to buy my own. 2. It's quiet, meaning the street side is peaceful. The bed is soft and the pillows are comfortable. The bathroom is very large with separate wet and dry zones. 3. The air conditioning works well and is stable. The hot and cold water in the bathroom is incredibly stable; it gets hot very quickly and stays hot for a long time. Cons: 1. The hotel is undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026. However, I didn't hear any noise during my stay. Perhaps the floor I was on wasn't being renovated. (The staff did show me a warning sign about this before check-in). 2. You need to prepare HKD 500 for the deposit (room guarantee), which is refunded at check-out (you need to present the receipt). It didn't take long to get it back. 3. I booked a non-smoking room, but it still smelled of smoke. Maybe the smell wasn't completely eliminated. 4. The soundproofing within the hotel rooms isn't great, but it's not terrible either. You might occasionally hear things clearly.

Although the hotel room was small, it was incredibly clean, and the bed was plush and comfortable, so I had a really great rest. Check-in was fast, and I loved that there were plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Best of all, staying on a high floor allowed me to enjoy the beautiful views of Hong Kong, which was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again soon!

Wow, I was really impressed by the thoughtful touches the moment I walked in! For a central Hong Kong location, this hostel offers pretty good value for money. I did my homework before coming (once in Spain, I didn't plan ahead and almost got pickpocketed!). While Hong Kong's streets and alleys are narrow and prices are high, the experience here is much better than the guesthouses I stayed at in Korea and Japan. I can even say this in my (bad) Cantonese – I'm a huge TVB fan! The transportation is super convenient; just take the elevator from Tsim Sha Tsui Exit D1 directly to the 13th floor, and the front desk is right there (it's very noticeable, and the chubby guy at the front desk is quite cute). I carefully checked my booking details before arriving and contacted the hostel 48 hours in advance, so the self-check-in process was incredibly smooth and easy. The building itself is a very typical Hong Kong commercial-residential building, making you feel like you're on a TVB set – it has so much character! I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance! The only minor regret is that the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea (bubble tea shop) across the street closed down, and other bubble tea places are a bit pricey – Hong Kong is quite expensive, haha. Highly recommend!

the room was beautiful, tho its not as clean as i expected it to be... there's blood stain in the couch and window nooks. a lot of long hair strands in the carpet. i know they can do better. i still like the hotel, the shuttle service from hotel to train station is big help for guests. since there is no free bottled water on rooms, at least have a water dispenser on some floors. the breakfast is buffet but... sorry but its so bland. im not a picky eater but... its really disappointing. if you gonna ask me, if i will stay again on this hotel, probably not. 1000+ rmb for family room and the experience is just so so... sorry. ✌

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was especially cool for me to stay in this particular building because it's where the famous movie 'Chungking Express' was filmed. That alone makes the place special and gives it a unique vibe. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool, which was especially important in the hot and humid weather. I also want to give a special shout-out to the host. He was very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. Check-in was quick, and I was even able to check in earlier than the set time.

This time in Hong Kong, I chose the Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations, especially for travelers who prioritize value for money and convenient transportation. Location and Transportation: The hotel is situated on the southern coast of Tsing Yi. Although it's a bit far from the city center, transportation is very convenient. From Hong Kong International Airport, you can take the Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station, then transfer to a minibus, which gets you there quickly. There's also a bus stop right downstairs. Room and View: The room isn't small by Hong Kong standards. It was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. Facilities were complete, including a TV, a mini-fridge, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle.
