I really looked at so many hotels before coming to Hong Kong, worried that a bad stay would spoil my trip, but the Prudential Hotel truly didn't disappoint! It's actually not far from West Kowloon, just a few blocks away. Plus, the Jordan MTR station exit is right next door, and downstairs you'll find bus stops, the Airport Express, Mannings, and Jollibee fried chicken – it's incredibly convenient! It's also super close to West Kowloon Park, making it easy to visit the big purple fountain. In fact, it's quite close to the Star Ferry and the Victoria Harbour observation deck too; we walked there the first time, and then took a bus (just 4 stops) to see the night view. There was even a film crew shooting downstairs, though we didn't see any celebrities, it was still pretty cool. There are lots of great restaurants in the area. The check-in service was very welcoming, and I noticed staff near the escalator helping women with large suitcases down, showing a strong awareness of safety.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were super friendly and even let us check out late at 1pm when we asked, which was a nice bonus.
We also got a free room upgrade with a separate living room and bedroom—felt really spacious, especially for Hong Kong standards. Toiletries were provided, and the minibar had some complimentary items for one-time use, which was a nice touch.
Location is great too, less than 5 mins walk to Jordan MTR, super convenient for getting around. It’s also about 10 mins from Australia Dairy Company. We went there for breakfast and the queue was long but moved pretty fast. Food was decentl good, just a pity we didn’t get to try the steamed milk dessert.
Overall, a very comfortable stay for 4 days 3 nights!

Facilities & Hygiene:
The hotel's lobby and public areas have been renovated, and the overall design has a distinctly Wong Kar-wai feel – exquisite and beautiful. The gym is on the top floor; the pool is small but still great for photos. Their signature feature is the all-glass panoramic elevator. If you have a fear of heights, just stand closer to the door when you ride it.
Rooms in Hong Kong hotels are generally small, which is a common issue. While the room still showed signs of age, it was clean and tidy, so no major problems. The bathroom was a bit cramped – big folks, be warned! ⚠️ And definitely remember to bring your toothbrush, toothpaste, and comb! We didn't bring ours and had to buy them from a vending machine in the lobby, which then jammed on us 😭
Service: Check-in was very smooth, and the staff answered questions confidently. Our room faced the street, and the window's soundproofing worked well, so it wasn't noisy. The bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Environment:
Right below the hotel is the 3-story Good Centre, where you can easily find food options. Very convenient.
We didn't eat there that night; instead, we went across from the hotel elevator for some delicious beef brisket noodles (a cha chaan teng, next to 7-Eleven). The flavor was light, fresh, and savory – highly recommended.
Oh, and the next morning you can have dim sum at Yat Tung Heen downstairs. The ambiance and food are quite good. If you plan to go, definitely make a reservation online in advance, otherwise, you'll have to try your luck with a walk-in. There's currently a 15% discount for registered members; you can ask at the front desk for details as they belong to the same group.

Traveling with my son, the subway was super convenient; the hotel is right outside the station. The owner here is exceptionally kind, and the room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. The furniture also looked brand new. It was a very satisfying stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Hong Kong. Highly recommend!

The hotel room is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards. It's conveniently located, with a bus ride to the high-speed rail station taking only 3 stops and 10 minutes, and the bus stop itself is just a 2-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's an HSBC bank and a Starbucks. Due to plastic restrictions in Hong Kong, most hotels don't provide toothbrushes, so you usually have to bring your own, but this hotel does. Bottled water isn't provided in the room, but there are two canned mineral waters. There are many dining options downstairs, offering both Chinese and Western cuisine. Temple Street is just a short walk across from the hotel, and it's very lively at night with lots of food stalls. Directly opposite the hotel is Wing On Department Store. This time, I actually found clothes at 90% off from a brand I used to buy in Hong Kong, and the style and quality are both good. This hotel is an excellent choice for those traveling by high-speed rail. I'll consider staying here again next time.
The Wing Sing Hong Guesthouse is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Hong Kong will find that the Wing Sing Hong Guesthouse is a fantastic accommodation choice. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. Excellent location, very well served by public transport, and very lively in terms of shops. All instructions are clearly provided for self-check-in. I was accommodated in a small, simple, windowless room with a private bathroom. Good quality bedding (very firm bed - which suited me). Shampoo and shower gel were provided. A bottle of water was also provided. A hairdryer was available in the room. There was enough space to put your travel bag on the floor. There was even a clothes rack with a hanger. The only thing missing was a mirror in the bedroom to make it complete. Good Wi-Fi. The only slight drawback: street noise comes through the air ducts. It's not bothersome, but you have this low noise as a constant background noise. Suitable for those looking for budget accommodation.
The Jordan Comfort Inn is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Hong Kong, having been recently renovated in 2023. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 1km from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 31km from Hong Kong International Airport. Famous local attractions Hong Kong Science Museum, Nathan Rd and Chungking Mansions, can all be reached with a short walk. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.

Hong Kong is quite expensive. We booked a quad room, which was just right for three people. The location is excellent, very close to Kowloon Park, bus stops, and MTR stations. There's also an airport bus that goes directly there, and it's near the Hong Kong Science Museum. There's no breakfast, and the elevator is very small, but maybe that's just how it is in Hong Kong.

The hotel's location is fantastic, surrounded by a lively area with an abundance of diverse food options and attractions. Kowloon Park is also nearby, making it perfect for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel itself is excellent; the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. While we waited for our room assignment, the concierge even offered us milk tea. Due to our work, we had to retrieve and return several toolboxes from storage daily, and the baggage staff were very patient, meticulously helping us register and count them each time. This hotel provides outstanding service, and I will definitely be staying here again for my business trip next year.

KkerkcheehowLocation: Just a 3-minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Exit C. You can also take bus A11 directly from the airport.
Environment: Clean and spacious rooms, which is considered quite large for Hong Kong.
Amenities: Toothbrush, slippers, towels, hairdryer, shower gel, and shampoo are all provided.
Staff: All staff members are polite and can speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Overall, the room was quiet, the air conditioning was sufficiently cold, and the shower had good water pressure. I stayed for six nights and had a very pleasant experience.
GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
SSanfenrexieziI was traveling solo and only stayed for one night, so location was my top priority when choosing a hotel. This place is just a two or three-minute walk from the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, right on the street, and easy to find. The young man at the front desk was very polite, but the older gentleman next to him had a slightly gruff tone. The room itself was fine, aside from being small. For one person, this room type was just about enough, but for two, it would probably feel very cramped.
WWhere are the JacksWe are a family of four. Stayed for 6 days in their family room. Room size is big for Hong Kong standards at 28 square meters with two double beds. 4500 Pesos per night, great Value for money. Different themed floors and rooms. Greece, Africa, cozi penguins etc. It has a playroom for kids. gym and sauna, also a swimming pool, but it's closed, open during summertime or July. Service is great. Staff are all nice. Spoke to them in english and Mandarin.
MTR and Bus are only in front of the hotel, or about 300 meters. Connected to V CITY MALL, and connected to other malls, tuen men plaza, tuen men park etc. all via connecting Bridge. You can take the 33AX bus going from and to the airport. Only cost 17 HK dollars. Oh we went to a local catholic church for the easter sunday mass. It's in front of V City Mall. MTR takes you everywhere in HK very convenient yet cheap because it's not your usual touristy area like Tsim Sha Tsui.
RRS JennyI stayed at this hotel for almost a week, and the service was genuinely excellent. One thing that stood out was how attentive the housekeeping staff were after a few days, they seemed to understand exactly how I preferred my bed and bedding arranged. Whenever that particular staff member cleaned our room, she made sure everything was kept just the way I liked it, which I found very thoughtful.
The room, however, is significantly smaller than it appears in the photos much smaller, especially considering the price. That said, given that the hotel is located in Hong Kong, the size is somewhat understandable and not entirely unreasonable.
The location is definitely a highlight. It’s literally about a two-minute walk to the tram, which I used frequently during my stay. This made getting around Hong Kong extremely easy and convenient. Compared to other larger hotels in the same area, this one is also relatively more affordable.
In terms of cleanliness, there is room for improvement. On one occasion, after the room was serviced, my towel was replaced with one that was worn out, slightly damaged, and didn’t look properly clean. That was disappointing and not up to standard.
AAnonymous UserStaying here for second time. The room was a bit old and the curtain doesn’t work well but as a solo traveler, it was ok. The door is not well soundproof. I would prefer the first time I stayed here. However, with this price in HK, I would say I am still ok with overall experience.
LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.
BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!
RRyonChenThe location is super convenient, with direct subway access. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and comfortable, and the sea view from my room was spectacular. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or short getaways. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
